Our unique affiliate web site enables the transfer of high quality audio via a broadband internet connection, allowing voice-links, adverts, promos and other audio to be transferred between computers. Having received your voice links, we fully-produce your show to the specific station requirements, using professional digital audio editing software.
It depends on what the radio station asks for. Some stations will just want you to provide the voice-links for your show, which they insert into their automated playout system.
Other stations will want your show to be fully edited and produced. This option is popular with stations that use playout systems that would require a tech-op to be present to successfully air a voice-tracked show.
Both presenter and production work can potentially be done from home making this an ideal opportunity for freelance work around your current job or studies. It also gives you the opportunity to present a show for an overseas radio station, or even one just a couple of miles away, without having to go anywhere!

"I am an experienced presenter but I'm worried that
I don't have the necessary computer skills. Can I still apply?"
Yes. If you have access to a computer (this could be at home, work or a friend's
house) we will send you step-by-step instructions on how to upload your voice-links
to our affiliate web site. Even if you don't have regular access to a computer,
it may still be possible for you to mail your voice-links to us by registered
post.
"I don't have regular access to the internet. Does
this rule me out?"
Not necessarily. This may limit what we are able to offer you but we wouldn't
want to lose out on offering a good presenter work due to a technicality!
"What software do I need to produce audio of a suitable
quality for stations?"
For voice links all you need is a microphone and recording equipment. For
editing and mixing, there are a variety of packages used widely by the industry.
We will assess the requirements of each station and advise you accordingly.
You will receive a logging-sheet from the radio station with full details of the music and other audio to be aired during your show. It will also indicate where to insert the voice-links.
You'll then record each voice-link for the show based around the format guidelines provided by the station.
Finally you'll need to convert each voice-link to an audio file that can be uploaded to our affiliate web site.
We take care of the rest, delivering either the fully produced show or just your voice-links, as specified by the station.
You'll download audio from our affiliate web site for editing.
You'll then edit and mix the show together as per the logging sheet provided by the station, using digital audio software.
Then, by converting the show into a number of audio files, you'll upload them to our affiliate web site, ready for the station to use.
