1. Send us your demo along with any graphics for the CD booklet, label etc.

2. We set up the necessary files in the computer for making the required number of copies

3. You tell us whereabouts you would like us to send your demo. This can either be specific stations or a geographical area. Alternatively we can research which genre of station would suit you best.

4. We send your demo along with a covering letter from On-a-Hi to each station

5. Two weeks later, if there has been no response, we follow up the demo with a phone call to the station to get feedback and hopefully open up contact between the station and you directly

6. Any feedback sent directly to On-a-Hi will of course be forwarded to you immediately.

From that point, you will have direct contact with the stations that are interested in you and we leave further communication to you. If no stations show an interest, we will push for as much feedback as possible in the hope of refining your demo and style to increase your chances for next time.

 

• £20 per station approach subject to a minimum of 5 stations i.e. £100.
• If you instruct us to approach less than 5 stations, there is a £30 set up charge e.g. 3 stations = £20x3=£60 + £30 set up fee = £90 total.
• Each station approach includes demo duplication, postage, follow-up calls and relaying feedback

We would recommend that you approach a minimum of 5 stations in order to get back a varied and balanced response from programme controllers. It's also better value for money.

Please note:

This service is only available to presenters who are able to provide a demo that clearly demonstrates an appropriate standard of presenting. Some effort must also be taken in presenting the actual demo CD cover / booklet. This ensures that a demo sent through the On-a-Hi Intro Service will receive more credibility and recognition.
