1. Send us a copy of a recent demo you have recorded that gives a true reflection of the style of show you present. Alternatively, just send us a recording of one of your actual shows (links only - this is known in the industry as a 'snoop tape')

2. Also enclose a little information about yourself, the experience you have had to date and your radio ambitions. You may want to apply for work as a full-time presenter on a local station, you may be happy to continue as a hospital radio volunteer. Whatever your aims, let us know; we will then tailor our advice towards your goals

3. We carefully listen to your demo and structure a critique based on constructive praise and advice. If what you are doing is good, we will recognise and comment on these strengths suggesting how you may build on them further. If parts of your demo are not so good, we'll let you know why and how you can improve these areas

4. Our detailed critique is broken down into specific areas. These include overall style, show structure, voice projection and technique, relating to your audience, keeping your listener tuned in and general pointers to help you raise your standards

5. We send you your critique within 28 days (usually much less) and return your demo to you.
